With more than 5,000 dedicated healthcare communications specialists from every corner of science, medicine, marketing, and communications, we recognize that it takes the best of talent to deliver the best of health.   When you join Omnicom Health Group, you have access to opportunities across the most networked network.  What does this mean for you?  Your journey may start with one Omnicom Health Group company then pivot to another, followed by a move to another where you take your career in a whole new direction building your skills and experience each step on your journey.  We’re eager for you to carve a path that works for you – and we’ll help you make it happen.   Title: Principal, Market Access   OVERVIEW OF ROLE: The Principal provides strategic leadership for client engagements and serves in a leadership role within Valuate and across the network.  Key parts of the role include providing market access expertise, building and growing client business, contributing to service innovations, identifying collaboration opportunities and staff development.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Serve as a market access thought leader - Lead strategic client consulting engagements - Build and maintain relationships with senior clients across the healthcare industry including pharma, biotech, health systems, provider groups, payers - Identify and pursue business development opportunities - Mentor and develop staff - Conduct in-depth engagements with key market access decision makers to gain insights into evaluation of therapeutic interventions - Build and maintain relationships with leading market access thought leaders, including health plans, PBMs, specialty pharmacy, employers, health systems and provider entities - Responsible for competitive industry analysis and consulting - Conduct ongoing market research - Stay informed of healthcare business and policy trends affecting both payers and providers - Create thought leadership content for client dissemination - In person client travel is required QUALIFICATIONS: - Extensive experience in US market access strategy, operations, marketing, consulting and/or account management - Global market access experience preferred - Strong experience in gathering strategic insights in the payer markets - Robust contacts with key decision makers within pharmaceutical manufacturers, health plans, PBMs and health systems - Health economics experience preferred - US &/or Global brand planning and value platform development experience - Experience at health plan, provider entity or pharmaceutical company in a strategic and management role - Strong communication, collaboration and strategic skills - Ability to motivate and develop teams - Minimum of 15 years market access experience - Graduate degree in healthcare-related discipline preferred - Commitment to improving access to healthcare The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire. - $213,500 - $231,000 Omnicom Health Group is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent.
